Nance Guilmartin's

June 17, 2003 at Wisconsin Club and June 18, 2003 at Westmoor Country Club. Our client event featuring Nance Guilmartin was extremely well received. Nance gives presentations all over the country and also provides coaching to high level executives. We had a wonderful opportunity to learn a few of her techniques first hand. The title of Nance's book is Healing Conversations, What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say, and is about the art of listening. The goal of Healing Conversations is to help us get started expressing the inexpressible. These are conversations that will inevitably be a part of each of our lives. So the next time you face that difficult conversation, pause and ask that life saving question,
Mike Steppe's Presentation

December 4, 2002 at The Country Inn Hotel and December 10, 2003 at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove. We had the pleasure of hearing Mike Steppe of Brookfield Investment Partners speak to our clients on fixed income portfolios, the economy and inflation. Specifically he gave us his insight into how he sees the inflationary environment changing. Mike's belief is that the key to consistently good investment results is being able to identify changes on the horizon in relation to the inflationary environment. During times of change, the cross-currents are fierce, but trends are pointing to modestly increasing inflation. Evidence of this can be seen in the price increase of housing, energy, medical costs, tuition, service costs and state/local taxes. Many investors have been paralyzed by fear, however, now is the time to take a step back and observe the changing environment. We are seeing a fundamental shift in the inflationary environment that if taken advantage of through repositioning of investment holdings, may generate a strong performance over the next few years.
