As her daughter, Julie has a lifelong relationship with Karen and even sounds like her! She has worked with Karen in the financial field for over 15 years in a variety of positions. She is an integral part of the company's succession plan and will be in a position to continue Ellenbecker Investment Group, Inc. when Karen is ready to retire. She is part of the sales team, mainly focusing on the internal client base. Julie is also a member of the Investment Committee, which is instrumental in selecting, researching and revising the investments chosen for our portfolios. She is fully responsible for selecting and monitoring all of the mid cap, small cap and micro cap core portfolio holdings.

Julie is personable, knowledgeable and has built strong relationships with our clients. She co-hosts "Money Sense" and provides seminars and various speaking engagements. Julie created our "Young Investor's Club" and believes you are never too young to start investing. Julie has been our office spiritual leader, an opportunity that is rotated to various employees.

Julie is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Unity West Church, Milwaukee Zoological Society, and Friends of Milwaukee Public Museum. In addition, Julie is actively involved in Life Smarts, a "Brain Olympics" game created to educate teenagers on issues such as personal finance, health, safety, environment, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities. Julie is also the treasurer and board member for Reconstruct, a two-year recovery program for men coming out of incarceration.

Julie is a registered representative with SII Investments, Inc. holding Securities registrations Series 6 (Investment Company products/ Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law) as well as Health and Life Insurance licenses. Julie also holds a Bachelor degree in Education. Julie received a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation after completing education course requirements in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Insurance Planning. Julie is a graduate of the Leadership Intensive Program, a powerful personal development program for individuals and leaders who care passionately about living and working a life of significance.

Julie lives in Pewaukee with her husband, Tom, son, Joe, daughter, Mia, She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, boating, reading, entertaining, traveling, teaching and learning.
