Jamie joined Ellenbecker Investment Group in August of 2019. As a Wealth Advisor, he is committed to delivering a positive client experience by taking the time to listen and review client’s current financial situation with a focus on their unique preferences and goals. He then develops a plan with recommendations necessary to achieve long-term success. Throughout this process Jamie focuses on a number of key areas with an emphasis on family needs, desired income goals and asset allocation strategies. Finally, he engages in ongoing discussions that address a wide range of areas that include investing, retirement planning all relating to the “bigger picture”.
Jamie began his career in 1991 holding positions in bank management, commercial lending and private banking. Most recently he held a position as Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors. His focus and area of expertise was to develop strategies for individuals, their families as well as their businesses. His strategies seek to address risk tolerances, time horizon, and liquidity needs.
Jamie has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2007 after completing educational course requirements in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Estate Planning, and Insurance Planning. He is a graduate of McHenry College receiving a degree in Business Management and attended Ottawa University for additional studies in Business Management and Administration. In 2015, he successfully passed his Series 7 General Securities Representative Exam and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Exam.
Jamie and his wife, Kathy, live in Brookfield with their two boys. They all enjoy spending time at their family cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Jamie is active throughout the year in a range of youth sporting events with his children in addition to his ongoing involvement with his son’s Boy Scout Troop.
