Kate joined Ellenbecker Investment Group in December of 2017 as an Operations Associate supporting Julie Ellenbecker-Lipsky. In 2020, she added the additional role of Client Operations Coordinator, focusing on operational consistency and quality within our Operations team as well as onboarding new employees. Her goal is to support our teams in providing the highest quality service to all EIG clients.
Kate graduated from the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 with a chemistry minor. She taught middle school science in Milwaukee and Wauwatosa for 7 years before changing careers and joining a mutual fund company in Milwaukee. She successfully passed both her FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative exam and her Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law exam. After working on a mutual fund sales team for 5 years, Kate decided to stay home full-time to raise her young son and daughter. Four years later, she was ready to jump back into her career and is very grateful to have found a home here at EIG. Kate passed her Series 65, Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, in spring of 2019.
Kate splits her time between homes in Elm Grove and on Silver Lake in West Bend with her husband Ryan and their 4 children. Her family loves to be outdoors and active - boating, camping, hiking, biking, and playing volleyball.
