 Meet Kristina

Kristina Schnuckel joined the EIG team in June 2013. She enjoys building meaningful, long‑term relationships with the families she serves and values the opportunity to work with multiple generations. Kristina is committed to creating an environment where every family member feels comfortable, confident, and supported.

Kristina graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; continuing on to complete her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ education, including Insurance Planning, Investment, Retirement, Estate and Tax Planning in 2011. She holds Series 7 and Series 63 registrations, as well as her Life and Health Insurance licenses. In 2014, Kristina became an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, to better assist our clients through the use of Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans. In 2026, Kristina earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation through the Exit Planning Institute. The CEPA® program provides education on the exit planning process for business owners, including business value drivers, transition options, and coordination among financial, legal, tax, and business advisors.

In her work with clients, Kristina emphasizes collaboration, thoughtful planning, and alignment of financial decisions with each client’s personal and professional objectives.

When not at work, Kristina enjoys travel and philanthropy. A trip to Ghana, West Africa in 2010 led her to work at an orphanage where she met her son Isaiah. August 12, 2011, they adopted him into their forever family. Kristina and her husband now serve on the board of West Africa Mercy Ministries, a non-profit that cares for orphans in Accra, Ghana among other projects.

Kristina lives in Pewaukee with her husband, Scott, and their three children—Isaiah, Perrie, and Henry. Their home is also happily shared with two Maine Coon cats, Louie and Perseus, and a bearded dragon named Hercules.
