Mark helps clients improve their finances with his expertise in retirement planning, wealth management, tax strategies and investment advising. A young family in a farmhouse sparked his passion for financial planning. Helping the family pay off debt, add to their retirement accounts and create their daughter’s college fund has forever changed their lives as a result of working together. Since that day early in his career, he has been honing his skills to help more families improve their lives through smart financial decisions. His favorite days are when he can impact a client’s life. Sometimes it’s the relief when clients see their retirement is well funded. Other times, it’s the "aha" moment when they see a clear picture of how their decisions today could affect their future.
Mark has been a financial advisor since 2004 and joined EIG in 2019. He has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2008 after completing educational course requirements in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Insurance Planning. Mark passed the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law exam and holds a Life and Health Insurance license. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. He obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation in 2019.
When not at work, Mark gives his time to Habitat for Humanity and his family. With his wife, Becca, and two children, summers are spent on the local lakes skiing, swimming and fishing. They downhill ski in the winter and clear the pond behind their home for skating with friends and neighbors.
