Michele Pawlak
Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Business Services
Michele joined Ellenbecker Investment Group in June of 2022 as a compliance consultant with over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. In March of 2023, she assumed the role of Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Business Services at EIG.
Michele holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP). Her career began at Kemper Clearing Corporation in their management training program, and she went on to Robert W. Baird & Co., working as a Vice President of Compliance. During her twelve years there she conducted branch office visits, supervised options trading, and responded to regulatory inquiries. She has also worked as a compliance consultant to other RIA firms in the Milwaukee area. Michele has passed the FINRA Series 4, 7, 8 (9-10), 24, and 63 exams.
Michele lives in Oconomowoc with her husband and has two adult children. She also serves as Secretary on the board of Pillows with Wings and as Treasurer of 100 Women Who Care – Waukesha County. Michele enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, interior design, and playing tennis.
